One lucky winner will receive a book from each author on the hunt on my team! But play fast: this contest (and all the exclusive bonus material) will only be online for 120 hours!

There are FOUR contests going on simultaneously, I am a part of the RED TEAM – but there are four teams: Red Team, Gold Team, Blue Team, Purple Team – each with 20 authors. Scavenger Hunt Rules:
- Each YASH post contains a secret number (highlighted in the color of the author’s team). You should write this number and its color down! Hidden in this post, you’ll find my favorite number. HINT: the Greeks called it the perfect number. Another hint: mine might be bolded.
- Collect the favorite numbers of all the authors on the RED team, and add them up.
- Entry Form: once you’ve added up all the numbers, make sure you fill out the form here to officially qualify for the grand prize. Only entries that have the correct number will qualify.
- You don’t have to choose just one team. Feel free to follow all teams and write down all the secret numbers.

- We are also now featuring a bonus prize. We select a group of authors who have participated in the hunt many times and fans can add up their numbers as well to enter for a $50 Amazon gift card.

Meet Brendan:
“I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I still reside with my beautiful wife, mischievous son, and beautiful daughter. We also have two playful pit-bull mixes named Soldier and Flip, and a ferocious cat named Wrigley. It’s a full house. No complaints. I worked three long years as a litigation attorney before I jumped ship to co-write the Virals series with my mother, the great Kathy Reichs. After completion I began my new YA series: Project Nemesis. I also wrote The Darkdeep series with my best friend and co-author Ally Condie. I plan to keep on writing novels until they drag me kicking and screaming from my desk.”

The 64 members of Fire Lake’s sophomore class have managed to survive the first two phases of the Program–and each other.
